Personal

Why did you decide to become a therapist? I have wanted to work with people in some capacity since I was in high school. I took a quick detour as a business major, but quickly realized that was not for me after being bored to tears in my freshman year macro-economics course. I have experienced the joy of serving others and hearing their stories through a variety of non-profit/human services jobs and eventually as a therapist for the past 10+ years.

What are your interests outside of work? Watching sports and tv shows, reading, video games, board games, playing and listening to music, and hanging out with my amazing wife and rambunctious kids!

Do you have any pets? One very large and very vocal cat named Bear.

What book have you read more than once? I don't believe I have ever read a book twice because there are far too many good books out there that I want to read at least once! Perhaps the closest I've come to reading a book twice is The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog by Bruce Perry.
