meet caitlin piacentini

She is most interested in treating women’s health, fertility, menstrual difficulties, digestive issues, and mental health. She has several years of clinical experience and enjoys exploring all facets of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) including acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, moxibustion, gua sha, and bloodletting.

Caitlin has always had an interest in healthcare, and originally started a program in radiography. But she didn’t feel like anything “clicked” until she shadowed an acupuncturist. She quickly moved near the closest acupuncture school (which was nearly 400 miles away) and was immediately captivated by traditional Chinese medicine and never questioned her choice to enroll. She also believes that one of the greatest lessons she discovered in acupuncture school was learning to listen to the body and strive to achieve a deeper understanding of why we feel the way we do. Her goal has always been to be the kind of provider she needed when she first started healing her own health concerns. As someone who can have a significant amount of anxiety and fear about healthcare procedures, she tries to make anyone who comes into her office comfortable by taking the time to listen to their story, explaining their treatment plan, and encouraging them along the way.

Caitlin holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Roseville, MN. She is also NCCAOM board-certified in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and licensed with the Minnesota State Medical Board.

When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their three cats. She also has fun baking, cooking, knitting or crocheting, and occasionally traveling.
